WITH the Easter bank holiday weekend sadly over, we're here to get you to your destination this Tuesday morning.

A quick glance around the Black Country and North Worcestershire suggests the roads are looking okay in general, apart from where there are ongoing road works. Some to look out for are:

The A491 High Street in Amblecote, Stourbridge, is closed northbound between the A451 St John's Road junction and the A461 Wollaston Road junction, because of gas main work. A diversion is in operation via the Stourbridge Ring Road, A458 Enville St, Bridgnorth Rd, A461 High St and Wollaston.

The B4187 Worcester Lane in Pedmore, Stourbridge is closed northbound between the Bromwich Lane junction and the Redlake Road junction, because of roadworks.

A diversion in operation via Worcester Lane, Worcester Road, Kidderminster Road, Stourbridge Road, Hagley Road and Redlake Road. Expect delays.

Gas maintence work is being carried out on Auxerre Avenue, Redditch with temporary traffic lights on Studley Road at the Auxerre Avenue junction.

There is temporary traffic lights and telecoms work on Middleton Road in Bromsgrove at the B4091 Stourbridge Road junction.

  • For those travelling by rail there is a London Midland replacement transport bus service running between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton due to engineering works.
