STOURBRIDGE blues and roots star Ian Parker will be returning to his 'spiritual home' - the Robin 2 - this week.

Parker will be performing with his long-time musical collaborator, keyboard wizard Morg Morgan, as well as bass player David Jenkins and drummer Chris Finn, at the music venue in Mount Pleasant, Bilston, on Thursday October 27.

Ian, aged 39, an accomplished stage performer and recording artist who has been wowing live music fans for more than 20 years, said: "Even after all these years of playing there, the Robin still holds something special for me and the band. It's always a highlight of any UK tour and I'm really looking forward to it.

"We'll be playing a mixture of new and old - plenty for those fans who've been coming to see me for many years and have favourites from my back catalogue, but some new stuff we've worked on recently too. It'll be 90 minutes of blues guitar for sure."

The show starts at around 8pm.

Tickets are £12.50 in advance from the box office on 01902 401211 or online www.therobin.co.uk - or £15 on the door.
