COLOURFUL book characters were spotted cruising the corridors of a Halesowen primary school.

Staff and children at Hasbury Primary School marked Children's Book Week by dressing up as their favourite book character with the likes of Noddy, Harry Potter, Dennis the Menace and Sponge Bob Square Pants, all attending school for the day.
The theme of book day focused on books which spark imagination by combining superb illustrations with magical language.
And as well as dressing up as their favourite book character, the youngsters were asked to bring in the book which had inspired their chosen outfit.
During the fun day, the children and staff were then all invited to join a parade on stage where they were able to show their book and explain which character they were.
Lynne Clarke, School Business Manager, said: "Everyone looked superb and parents had put a lot of effort into their costumes. The children especially loved the parade."
