Credit to Silverstone for Getting the fans in today with the disastrous weather that we have had over the last few days.

We all were treated to an exceptional Grand Prix.

Alonso was in control for most the race but Webber had a better tyre strategy than Alonso and in the End Webber overtook Alonso going into Brooklands with just four laps remaining.

A bitter blow for Alonso but even more of a problem for McLaren with a disappointing 8th for Lewis Hamilton and a lonely 10th for Jenson Button.

McLaren struggled last race in Spain which is a mainly slow speed corner circuit then when we get to Silverstone a high speed sweeping layout they still have problems, although the lack of pace it didn’t deter the British Fans not a Brit on the podium but Mark Webber home is Oxford they went wild with excitement, a fantastic atmosphere and a weekend to remember for everybody that was here.

Germany in two weeks time can McLaren finally find some pace?
