McCARTNEYS’ annual award ceremony took place at The Luctonians, Kingsland when the recipient of the Negotiator of the Year was Beth Jones of the Kidderminster office.

She was described as a powerhouse amongst the team based in Worcester Street, arranging single-handedly 326 viewings, adding 133 new applicants and taking 86 offers between April and September.

Long Service Awards were presented to Sandra Skirving of the Kidderminster office and Julie Reynolds of the Stourport office. Both joined the firm as teenagers and have over 60 years of combined service.

Unsung Hero recipient was Richard Gwilliam, former chairman of McCartneys who had earlier this year selflessly stepped up to the plate in difficult times following an injury to partner Chris Jones of Brecon Market, who was out of action for some considerable time and continued to move the business forward.

The Livestock Market Award was presented to Amelia Illingsworth who is based at the Kington office. Other awards were Most Promising Newcomer which went to Hattie Alderson and Drover of the Year went to Luke Bowen The Office of the year prize went to Newtown following a productive 2012 which saw the office transformed.

The recipient of the Customer Service Award was Marian Pinches of the Ludlow Office. Alongside her colleagues, Marian is a driving force with a passion for precision of client handling and attention to detail when it comes to customer service, a dedication which has led to a wealth of praises.
