Vandals back days after club’s revamp

Frustrated members of Old Hill Cricket Club have hit out after “senseless” vandals again wrecked their ground. Mindless yobs have knocked down a wall at the club’s second pitch on Garratts Lane, just days after hard-working volunteers completed a £2,000 makeover. Walls had to be stripped and repainted while new carpets were laid down after vandals trashed the ground’s pavilion at Easter. Jon Roe, the club’s development officer, revealed vandals had now demolished a four foot high wall using the club’s outfield roller and has now appealed for the culprits to come forward.More details
