THE heady sounds of summer are arriving early this weekend when feelgood quartet The Festivals Experience head into town.
The band will be recreating the tunes and atmosphere of all the big summer shows at JBs, Castle Hill on Friday night.
Fans can expect classics from the likes of Supergrass, Coldplay, REM, Radiohead, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, Oasis and Kaiser Chiefs, among many others.
The foursome - Tony Short, brothers Ian and Roy Grove and Tim Welding - spent their formative years in a string of high-profile original and covers bands before forming The Festivals in the autumn of 2003, playing their debut gig for the News' Lifesavers appeal in aid of Russells Hall Hospital's intensive care unit.
They have gone on to amass a considerable live following, regularly playing sellout shows up and down the country.
Doors open at JBs at 9pm and admission is £6.
