A STOURBRIDGE based theatre group are guaranteeing to raise a laugh as they present their latest comedy offering.
A Comedy Theatre Group is taking to the Glebe Lane Methodist Church Hall stage later this month to perform A Sketch Show.
The sketches and jokes – written and adapted by the group’s director with additional material by all the members of the group – feature a variety of some new and some not so new.
There will be performances of routines including The Old Ladies at the Funeral, The Spoilt Footballer, The Blind Date, The New Receptionist and A Very Obliging Nun, as well as a number of quick-fire gags in a fast paced comedy show which highlights the humour found in everyday situations.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and although the show – which takes place on Friday June 26 and Saturday June 27 – is not an “adult” show, it is not recommended for children under 12.
Tickets cost £3 and can be bought by contacting Phill by calling 07954 692593 or emailing acomedytheatregroup@hotmail.co.uk
