TV stand-ups Justin Moorhouse and Gary Delaney will be lead a double headline bill of comedy in Brierley Hill in February – and more than 300 tickets have already been sold.

Moorhouse, who is known for playing Kenny Jr in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights, has also appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo, while one-liner king Delaney is a regular on Mock The Week.

The pair will take centre stage on the latest Live At The Civic comedy night at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Saturday, February 17 – and fans have been flocking to take advantage of a special £10 early bird ticket offer which runs until the end of November.

Also on the bill will be highly-rated Scott Bennett, currently supporting Rob Brydon on tour, and hotly-tipped Brummie Lindsey Santoro, while holding things together will be resident MC, Dudley’s own Wayne Beese.

Beese said: “This is an unbelievable bill of comedy – and for £10 it’s an absolute bargain.

“We’re delighted at the response so far. We want to make the shows affordable for all, because let’s face it, we could all do with something to laugh about at the moment.

“So we would urge people to take advantage of the early bird offer before it expires and come and see what will be a brilliant and hilarious show.”

Live At The Civic has been running since July last year and has already attracted some of the funniest and best-known comics in the land to the stage at Brierley Hill.

Previous headliners include Ross Noble, Joe Lycett, Mark Watson, Doc Brown, Seann Walsh and Tom Stade, supported by the cream of local talent including Doreen Tipton, Jonny Cole and The Fizzogs.

More than 3,000 people have attended the five shows held so far, with a further seven planned for 2018.
