STOURBRIDGE’S Side by Side theatre group is staging its annual outing at Stourbridge Town Hall next week.
The award-winning group of actors with learning disabilities will be presenting Tempest in a Teacup (based on Shakespeare’s The Tempest) at the Crown Centre venue from Wednesday June 17 to Friday June 19.
The Wednesday and Thursday shows start at 7.30pm and the Friday show is a matinee starting at 1.30pm.
Devised by the group’s artistic director Sue Wallin, the original play - which is told through mime, dance and dialogue - centres on a bedful of dysfunctional MPs - brewed up by Prospero in his kitchen.
Tickets are available from Books Unlimited, Lower High Street, Stourbridge; 01384 376330.
