WORDSLEY actors are hoping their latest production will be an absolute farce packed with chaos and confusion.

Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society are getting set for their latest production, a tale set in the village of Merton-cum-Middlewick during World War Two called See How They Run.

The show, directed by Andrew Wood, will be performed at Kingswinford Methodist Church, Stream Road, from Wednesday April 25 to Saturday April 28.

The plot is based on a succession of confused identities which gives an escaped German prisoner of war a chance at freedom.

Characters including two vicars, a bishop, a soldier also dressed as a vicar, an ex-actress, the spinster and a cheeky maid all contribute to create a classic farce storyline.

Liz Green, from Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society, said: "With its fast pace and zany action, it'll make a fabulous night out."
