EARLIER this month, Slam Dunk Festival announced its huge return to the festival circuit with headliners You Me At Six.

The festival, which takes place over the May Bank Holiday weekend at three sites in Leeds, Hatfield and Wolverhampton, has now announced the second wave of bands to be added to the bill.

Joining the pop-rock headlines will be friends of the festival Don Broco. These recent Kerrang! cover stars have been one of the fastest growing bands in the UK with many a BBC Radio 1 playlist, sold out tours and an increasingly expanding loyal fan base. They are currently working on their second album, which is set for release this summer.

Perhaps one of the most talked about new bands in the world right now, Pvris will be making their UK festival debut, and one of the most exciting, ferocious and downright brilliant UK metal bands, While She Sleeps return to Slam Dunk after a three-year absence.

Also joining the line-up is Trash Talk, A Loss For Words, The Bronx, Zebrahead, Big D and the Kids Table, Lightyear, Patent Pending, Emmure, Thy Art Is Murder, Beartooth, The Color Morale, Transit, and Such Gold.

Ben Ray, festival founder, said: “This will certainly be year of unique performances. After already announcing Bane’s final ever UK Festival appearance, it’s especially sad to see the A Loss for Words guys’ final show, as we’ve become close over the years. Although to balance things out it’s good to see the return of Lightyear.”

Slam Dunk will hit Wolverhampton stages on Monday, May 25. Tickets are £39 or £44 with infamous Slam Dunk after party entrance included. For tickets, visit slamdunkmusic.com.
