LIVE music lovers are being encouraged to turn out in force tonight, Thursday, June 16, and help support a Convoy to Calais fundraising gig taking place at Katie Fitzgerald's in Wollaston.
Solo artists Mark Britton, Ian Marrey, Nathan Jones and Jess Silk are all set to appear in addition to The Black Lakes.
Organisers are asking for a minimum £2 donation to help fund vital supplies for migrants who are currently based in Calais.
One of tonight's performers Ian Marrey said: "The conditions in which some of the migrants are living in at Calais are simply quite horrendous with little access to clean water and sanitation.
"Lots of groups are trying to do what they can for the migrants and we're hoping to raise as much money as we can for them."
Visitors to Katie Fitzgerald's can also take part in an open mic event as well which will be taking place upstairs.
More details about the fundraising can be obtained by going to the website care4calais.org.
