ACCLAIMED blues artist Ana Popovic will be stopping off at a Black Country music club.

Ana, who was born in Belgrade, Serbia, started playing guitar at the age of 15 and has gone on to become a major force in the contemporary blues world.

Now based in Memphis, USA, she has been nominated for five Blues Music Awards, appeared on magazine covers and nearly all of her albums have made into the top 5 of the Billboard Blues Charts and are played regularly on US radio.

The hard-working singer/guitarist has also played major blues, jazz and rock festivals, shared stages with BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jnr and Jonny Lang - and has a growing legion of fans around the world.

She will be playing at the Robin 2, Mount Pleasant, Bilston, on Tuesday January 17.
