SHED Seven became stars of the 90s indie scene with hits including sports show favourite Going For Gold.

The band hail from Yorkshire and extensive touring in their early days honed them into one of the most formidable live bands of their generation – They also clocked up 14 Top 40 singles.

After splitting in 2003 the band reformed in 2007 and continued to prove they could sell out major venues and in 2011 released a 15th anniversary edition of their landmark album A Maximum High.

Frontman Rick Witter said: “We've still got it, so yeah, we're gonna flaunt it... It's a great time to play and to be honest December wouldn’t be the same without a Sheds gig would it? We are looking forward to playing once more for our ever loyal following."

Since their reformation, with a line up including guitarist Paul Banks, who co-wrote many of their biggest hits, the band have continued to prove they can deliver on the big stages with a series of performances at major festivals including T in The Park and the V Festival.

Shed Seven will be live at Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall on Wednesday December 11, support for the gig will come from ex-Bluetones singer Mark Morriss.
