THE blueprint for a rock supergroup would look a lot like the line up of the band Snakecharmer.
Big names are the building blocks for this classic rock construction, based on the foundation of original Whitesnake duo Micky Moody and Neil Murray.
They are joined by Laurie Wisefield from Wishbone Ash, Harry James of Thunder and Magnum, Ozzy Osbourne’s keyboard maestro Adam Wakeman (son of Rick Wakeman) and singer Chris Ousey (Monroe and Virginia Wolf).
Their set features many of the Whitesnake hits from an era when the band features Moody and Murray in what many fans believe to be the definitive ‘Snake incarnation.
The show is also sure to feature hits from the rest of the groups back catalogue which will be drawn from Snakecharmer’s collective experience playing with many of the world’s biggest stars including Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Queen and Paul Rodgers.
Snakecharmer, with support from Fahran, will be live at Robin 2, Bilston on Friday January 24.
