A POPULAR stand-up comedian will appear at Dudley Town Hall later this year.

Top TV comic Paul Chowdhry, who has appeared on the likes of BBC’s Live At The Apollo and Taskmaster on Dave, is bringing his latest tour show, Live Innit, to the Dudley Council venue on October 12.

Tickets went on sale this morning (Monday) and are expected to be snapped up quickly.

It is shaping up to be a great month for borough comedy fans as political comedian Matt Forde, who hosts his own show Unspun on Dave, will appear at Stourbridge Town Hall on October 27.

Forde, who has also appeared on Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week, will be discussing Donald Trump and Brexit amongst other things in his latest show, titled It’s My Political Party (And I’ll Cry If I Want To).

Dudley Council's Alex Jackson, who is promoting the two shows, said: “Paul Chowdhry is an electrifying live performer and I'm delighted he's chosen to bring his brand new stand-up show to Dudley Town Hall.

“I've been a long-time fan of Matt Forde and can't wait to welcome him to Stourbridge Town Hall.

"Matt is well-known for his excellent TV show and podcast, but his live shows are also fantastic.

"This will be an unmissable evening in the company of a hilarious and hugely engaging comedian.”

Tickets for Paul Chowdhry: Live Innit cost £20 plus booking fees, while tickets for Matt Forde: It’s My Political Party (And I’ll Cry If I Want To) are available for £15 plus booking fee.

Both shows start at 8pm, with doors opening at 7.15pm.
