JAZZ fans are being treated to an extra session of music in Halesowen this weekend as The Phoenix Jazzmen take to the stage at the traditional Sunday night sessions.
The Jazzmen and their effervescent vocalist Sheila Fawkes will be providing the entertainment at Halesowen Cricket Club on Sunday, November 12.
The band, who are regular guests at the Halesowen jazz club, have gained great popularity in a relatively short period of time, with its members all being experienced local musicians.
Trevor Jones, jazz club organiser, said: “Another evening of hot, foot tapping classic jazz, mainly from the 1920s/30s era, is anticipated – catchy tunes ideal for both listening and dancing.”
The evening runs from 8pm until 10.30pm and admission on the door costs £5.
