AN evening of fundraising and music from some of the Black Country’s best ukelele bands will entertain the crowds in Halesowen.

The Blackheath Ukulele Collective, The Jookulele Band, and rock band The Shambolics are joining forces to help raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital’s Play Appeal.

The concert takes place from 8pm on Saturday, March 17, at Halesowen Cycling and Athletic Club, in Manor Way, with all of the money raised on the night from ticket sales, a raffle and any donations will be handed over to the appeal.

During the evening, a representative from the children’s hospital will be accepting a cheque for £1,000 raised by The Jookulele Band by playing at various venues in and around the Black Country.

Tickets for the event cost £5 and available from Rockstar Guitars, in Oldbury Road, Blackheath, Halesowen Cycling and Athletic Club, or by calling 07898 222861 for free ticket delivery.
