Rollins ready to talk tough in Wolvo

AMERICAN wordsmith Henry Rollins has a massive following for his work as a musician, writer, film, radio and TV star.

In 1980 he joined the short-lived band State of Alert before fronting the hardcore punk group Black Flag until their break-up in 1986.

He later formed the Rollins Band, which toured until 2003, hosted a number of TV shows, appeared in several feature films and gained huge acclaim for his spoken word books, albums and live performances.

Rollins also campaigns for human rights, promoting gay rights in particular, and tours overseas to entertain American troops, despite his opposition to the Iraq war.
