Talent on The Mend in Stourbridge

BRITAIN'S Got Talent stars The Mend may not have made top spot on the TV show (which this year was won by a dog) but they left a lasting impression on music mogul Simon Cowell.

The pop impresario is said to be planning to make The Mend, who finished fourth, a success in the mould of boy band The Wanted, who have enjoyed huge hits like Glad You Came.

Take That's Gary Barlow is also a fan, the X Factor judge tweeted during the final of Britain’s Got Talent that he thought The Mend were great.

The Mend are set to head out on the Britain's got talent tour later this year and will be warming up with a show at The River Rooms in Stourbridge.

The gig at the Mill Race Lane venue is set for Monday June 4 and will start at the family friendly time of 12.30pm.

The line up of performers for the show is set to include support acts by young stars from the Stourbridge region.
