CityLightz bring the unexpected to Wolvo gig

CITYLightz are a band with an unpredictable take on modern music, combining a scratchy indie guitar, rhythms and tempo that would befit a funk band from the 1960's and the punch of big stage rock.

Vocalist Matthew Barnett adds street bound rap to give the music a sense of spark and improvisation.

They mix working class tales with stories of drink and debauchery to bring an unusual twist to their sound and subjects.

CityLights will be at The Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton on Friday August 24.
