Couple flee blaze
An Old Hill couple were forced to flee their home after their television caught fire.
Fire crews using breathing apparatus from Brierley Hill and Dudley attended the blaze, which occured at a house on Sutherland Road at around 3.30pm this afternoon.
It is believed the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
Crew Commander Gary Neville, from Dudley fire station, said it had caused severe smoke damage to the living room.
He said: "The householders saw the flames and vacated the premises.
"Luckily they shut the living room door, which prevented the fire spreading through the rest of the house."
