Halesowen College students brought back silver and bronze medals in the annual British Colleges' Sport national finals at Loughborough University.

The West Midlands team finished a highest ever fourth place with six Halesowen students making contributions to the team points score.

Sports and fitness co-ordinator at Halesowen College, Jim Clements, said "There was particular success in the mixed doubles badminton competition and the men's swimming team earn a bronze.

"The whole squad enjoyed a weekend of top quality sport."
