Car on tracks

Commuters in Rowley Regis suffered travel chaos after a car crashed onto railway tracks this morning.

Trains heading toward Birmingham and Worcester were held up for around 30 minutes after a car went through fencing near Langley Green station in Oldbury at around 7.44am.

Services have now resumed but are not stopping in the direction of Worcester.

No-one was injured in the incident, but two men in their 20s have been arrested and British Transport Police officers are still at the scene.
