A 21-year-old Halesowen man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash which left a motorcyclist with serious head and chest injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the crash on Hartlebury Road, Stourport, at 6.40pm on Sunday.
The man was driving a blue Vauxhall Corsa which collided with a yellow Suzuki motorcycle ridden by a 29-year-old Stourport man.
He has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
