Talented golfers from a Cradley school proved they have what it takes to succeed in the sport.

Colley Lane Primary's B golf team beat off competition from pupils from eight other schools to win top place in the putting category in a competition at Windsor High.

The school's A team came second in the team course.

Continuing the theme of success - in individual scores Jonathon Coldicott came second while Ben Sargent and Ben Williams came joint third.

Trainee teacher Kate Williams said: "They behaved brilliantly and put so much effort into it even though it rained all afternoon!"
