Nearly new sale to help cash-strapped parents
1:00pm Sunday 28th October 2012 in News
CASH-strapped parents and parents-to-be in Halesowen and Stourbridge can buy quality baby clothes, toys and equipment at a “gold standard” nearly new sale and baby fair.
Organisers from the National Childbirth Trust estimate savings of about 70 per cent on what they would cost brand new.
Hayley Guest, from the NCT Stourbridge and Halesowen branch, said: “Families with baby goods no longer needed can ensure they go to a good home and make some cash at the same time.
“Items must be in excellent condition, and sellers keep up to 75 per cent of the proceeds while the rest is returned to fund NCT’s work.”
The event, on Saturday November 24 at Thorns Leisure Centre, Stockwell Avenue, Quarry Bank, from 11am until 1pm, will also feature stalls including baby signing and craft making.
