Last chance for Halesowen and Cradley to have say over democracy changes

PEOPLE in Halesowen and Cradley have only a few days left to have their say on Dudley Council’s proposed shake up of public meetings.

The Labour-controlled authority wants to axe the area committee system in favour of new community forums, which would see Cradley and Wollescote moved from Halesowen and joined with the wards of Lye and Stourbridge North and Amblecote.

People have until Friday November 9 to have their say on the proposals which can be viewed in detail on the council’s website at dudley.gov.uk and will be discussed at next Wednesday’s Halesowen Area Committee.

Comments can be sent to Philip Tart, director of corporate resources, via email to philip.tart@dudley.gov.uk
