ICY conditions are continuing to affect services around the borough.

Transport to and from Dudley Council-run day centres has been cancelled. The centres themselves remain open but users must arrange their own transport.

The Dell Stadium in Brierley Hill is closed until further notice.

The Crystal, Dudley and Halesowen leisure centres are open today (Tuesday January 22) but people are advised to call 01384 812800 before setting out.

All park activity centres are closed today (Tuesday January 22) for staff training.

Information on nature reserves buildings and wardens' bases opening times will be posted on Dudley Council’s website www.dudley.gov.uk

All neighbourhood learning centres and community centres across the borough are open but some classes are cancelled and are listed on the council website.

For evening adult education classes students should contact individual centres for more information.

A number of schools remain closed today (Tuesday). They are:

Alder Coppice Primary School

Hawbush Primary School

Hurst Hill Primary School

Red Hall Primary School

Happy Rainbow Nursery is also closed to children.

High Arcal School (open to year ten and 11 students only)

Hillcrest School and Community College (open to staff and exam pupils only)

Holly Hall Academy (open only to GCSE science examination students) - year 11 parents evening has been cancelled.

Halesbury School (closed to pupils - open to staff from 10am)

Old Park School (closed to pupils - open to staff from 10am)

Pens Meadow School (closed to pupils - open to staff from 10am)

Sutton School (closed to pupils - open to staff from 10am) Woodsetton School and Rosewood School are also closed to pupils

The council is collecting black sacks and recycling today (Tuesday) where safe to do so.

Any missed collections will be carried out as soon as possible. Residents are asked to leave any collections missed at the edge of their property and not on the road or pavement.

The household waste recycling centre in Birmingham Street, Stourbridge, is open as normal.
