OVERNIGHT snowfall is continuing to affect schools and council-run services across the borough.
Following a number of centimetres
of snow falling over the last few hours, a number of schools have once again closed or delayed opening times.
The affected schools are:
- Brockmoor Primary School
- Cotwall End Primary School (open from 10.30am to all pupils)
- Crestwood Park Primary School (open from 10am)
- Dudley Wood Primary School (open from 10am to all pupils)
- Hob Green Primary School
- Hurst Hill Primary School
- Jessons Primary School
- Netherton C of E Primary School
- Sledmere Primary School
- Wollescote Primary School
- Bishop Milner (open to sixth form exam students from 9.15am and all other students and staff from 10am)
- Old Park School Sutton School (closed to pupils - open to staff from 10am)
- Woodsetton School
All day centre transport has also been suspended today, although centres do remain open, but users need to make their own travel arrangements.
Refuse and recycling collections are also cancelled for today, with the service set to resume as soon as possible.
