Badminton coaching sessions hope to net young players

JUNIOR badminton coaching sessions are being launched at Cradley Heath’s Haden Hill Leisure Centre.
Qualified coach Jonathan Plant is running the sessions for under 15-year-olds starting next month.
As a member of the Haden Hill Badminton Club, he has been running coaching for seniors on Thursdays from 8pm until 10pm for two years.
Besides teaching youngsters the game, he hopes it will improve their fitness and allow them to meet new friends.
Five weekly sessions will be held from Friday February 8, from 6.30pm until 7.30pm and they will continue if there is sufficient interest.
