A HALESOWEN pub’s fundraising efforts has given a £795 boost to Mary Stevens Hospice.

Lutley Oak Flaming Grill pub, on Stourbridge Road, owned by Spirit Pub Company, raised the money through donations over the festive season to help the Stourbridge based hospice which cares for terminally ill patients from across the borough.

General manager, Bryan Wilson, said: “We had a lot of fun over the festive period and the people of Halesowen showed the true Christmas spirit by giving as much as they could. “We hope the £795 donated by the guests will go a long way to making a difference to the users of the hospice.”
