A FORMER Halesowen schoolgirl has made it through to the semi-finals of a TV dance show.

Louise Davies will compete in Sky One’s Got to Dance, on Sunday (February 10) and is appealing for people to tune in and support her.

The 27-year-old former Leasowes High pupil is part of a dance group called Collective Ent, which has made it down to the last 30 out of 160 acts in the competition.

The group is choreographed by Hamilton Evans and Kieron Proverbs with members ages ranging from 17 to 27.

Louise, who studied dance at Halesowen College before moving to London six years ago, said: “We have done really well so far.

“It would be great to win the show and go on to tour together as a group.”

Louise, who teaches dance in schools, also trained at the well-known Pineapple Dance Studios and Elite Academy in Birmingham and has taken part in the Royal Variety Show and made it through to the semi-finals of Britains Got Talent.

Her proud parents Tina and Paul Davies, still live on Mucklow Hill, Halesowen.
