A HALESOWEN firm has launched an appeal to raise £50k for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in honour of a longserving employee with the condition who is set to celebrate his half century.
Rob Sadler has worked at Chandlers Roofing Supplies’ Sussex branch for the last thirty years and will celebrate his 50th birthday this year.
To mark the milestone the company aims to raise £50k, with staff at its Halesowen branch on Mucklow Hill backing the bid and set to stage a string of fundraisers.
Dave Horton, of Chandlers, said: “With the average life expectancy of a Cystic Fibrosis sufferer being just 35 we are embarking on this exciting and ambitious challenge in celebration of Rob’s long service to the company and his zest and passion for life.
“The whole company has fully got behind the campaign.”
