Rowley Regis couple win holiday prize

A LUCKY couple from Rowley Regis are looking forward to a city break in Budapest this July, after scooping top prize in a Thomas Cook Olympics prize draw.

June and David Wood accepted their prize, £500 in Travel Vouchers to pay for their trip, from the Thomas Cook store in Dudley High Street.

They were entered into the prize draw after Mrs Wood bought Olympics tickets as a surprise for her husband early last year.

Branch manager Lynette Finch said: "When I called Mrs Wood to tell her she had won she was over the moon and very surprised. Myself and all of the team here are very pleased for them and hope that they have a great time on their city break."
