British Heart Foundation in Halesowen appeals for volunteers

THE BRITISH Heart Foundation is appealing for volunteers in Halesowen.

February is National Heart Month and the BHF shop in Halesowen needs 240 hours of voluntary work a week.

Elizabeth Dyet, volunteer training adviser, is appealing for local volunteers.

She said: ”Volunteering at your local BHF Shop is not only a fun way to get involved with the charity but, with a real team atmosphere, it’s also a great way to make new friends.”

“Our volunteers are vital to the work of BHF and we appreciate every minute people can spare.”

Last year BHF shops raised £30 million to help combat heart disease.

Volunteers can go to the High Street, Halesowen, BHF shop or call 01215850748 or visit bhf.org.uk/volunteer.
