TELEVISION baking star, Brendan Lynch, will be stopping off at Merry Hill tomorrow to cast his eye over a selection of sweet treats.

The runner-up star of The Great British Bake Off, will be stepping from behind the kitchen counter and reversing roles to judge the centre’s Mummy Mornings’ Bake Off.

The group, which has just celebrated its fifth anniversary, meet each Tuesday in Eat Central and is one of the biggest toddler clubs in the Midlands.

Keen bakers have been whipping up a storm to produce some tasty delights, with the winner chosen by Brendan, receiving a £50 Merry Hill gift card.

Kelly Reed, Merry Hill marketing manager, said: “We are so excited about Brendan coming to the Centre tomorrow to help judge the Bake Off.

“All of the mums and dads are equally excited and are really looking forward to having their cakes and bakes judged by an expert like Brendan.”

The Bake Off will take place from 11.30am at Kiddicare.
