Boost for Cradley Heath nature reserve as more than 100 trees planted

MORE than one hundred trees have been planted by volunteers at a Cradley Heath nature reserve.

The trees, from the Woodland Trust as part of the Jubilee Woods Project, were planted at Corngreaves Nature Reserve.

Volunteers from Sant Nirankari Mission in Wednesbury planted 105 specimens, a mix of native species, including oak and hawthorn.

Last year the Friends of Haden Hill Estate made a successful application to the Jubilee Woods Project and as a result 430 trees were planted at the reserve, which is part of Haden Hill Park.
