Quinton school makes Fairtrade its goal

PUPILS at a Quinton school made Fairtrade their goal when a children’s author came to visit.

Writer of fooftball stories and Fairtrade advocate Tom Palmer talked to the youngsters at Quinton Church Primary School, who took part in a magazine and book trivia quiz.

Ther session, which was part of Fairtrade Fortnight, culminated in a nailbiting penalty shoot out pitting teachers against pupils, which was won by eight-year-old Micah Robertson and Elliott Mitchell, aged nine.
