Inspector on the spot during live web chat
4:27pm Monday 4th March 2013 in News
HALESOWEN inspector Dez Lambert is inviting the public to question him during a live web chat about policing.
Insp Lambert, who is responsible for neighbourhood police teams across Halesowen and Stourbridge, will be live online on Tuesday 12 March.
Some of the topics that Insp Lambert will cover are the top five priorities for the Dudley borough which have been set by residents.
These are speeding, anti-social behaviour, burglary, drug related crime and retail theft. Community meetings and the Neighbourhood Watch Association will also be up for discussion.
Insp Lambert took over from Inspector Mick Palmer, himself a victim of cutbacks forcing the retirement of all West Midlands Police officers after 30 years service, last year.
He has lived in Halesowen for more than 30 years.
To take part in the web chat visit the Dudley police homepage at www.dudleypolice.org.uk between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday March 12 and click the 'play' button.
