Man remains in custody following Leasowes school girl murder

A 22 YEAR-old man remains in custody this morning in connection with the fatal stabbing of Leasowes High School pupil, Christina Edkins.

The man was arrested in following the incident in Birmingham yesterday and is being on suspicion of murder.

Enquires into the 16 year-old's death are continuning this morning.
