A POLICE inspector is teaming up with Halesowen MP James Morris to invite the public to question him about policing.
Insp Ian Massey is responsible for policing in South Sandwell which covers Smethwick, Oldbury and Rowley Regis.
Insp Massey is inviting the public to send him questions or raise any issues affecting them as part of a live online web chat, on Tuesday April 2.
Between 5.30pm and 7pm people can fire questions live at Insp Massey and James Morris MP, on the Sandwell Police website.
Inspector Massey said: "There are lots of people in our community who will never be able to make it to a residents' meeting because the time or venue isn't right for them.
“Therefore I am keen to offer an alternative way for people to talk to me about local issues."
James Morris MP said: "Nothing will ever beat face-to-face contact, but it is important that we also find new ways to reach out to local residents and to listen to their concerns.”
