Himley Hall tours offer visitors chance to peek in unseen rooms

GUIDED tours will give people a sneak peek behind the scenes of Himley Hall.
Visitors will be able to view areas of the historic hall which are usually closed to the public.
The tour includes the unseen servants’ quarters, cellars, the butler’s sitting room, the Earl of Dudley’s bedrooms and the refurbished North Wing complete with an art deco style swimming pool room and cinema bar.
Councillor Tracy Wood, Dudley’s cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “Himley Hall has such a fascinating history, and I urge people to come along and find out more.”
The tours run throughout August and September at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6.50 per person and include tea, coffee and biscuits.
