IMPROVED access costing more than £20,000 is to be made to the garden at Rowley Regis Hospital to make life easier for dementia patients.
The work is part of a £900,000 package of upgrades at hospitals in the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.
It is hoped that improving the access from the Henderson Ward to the garden will help reduce the disorientation and frustration patients with dementia feel when thet brought into an unfamiliar environment, such as a hospital.
