A new networking organisation is hoping to set up stall in Halesowen and Sandwell.
The Business Boys Club is looking for entrepreneurial types to establish “boys' clubs” with the motto is "work hard, play harder."
The plan is to have a network across the country which will run independently but also come together for social events and business networking opportunities.
Fellows are being sought to establish these clubs in towns and suburbs across the West Midlands and already interest in the concept is snowballing with one of the very first clubs starting up here in Coventry.
Founding Fellow Simon Badland, the man behind TBBC, said: "The Business Boys' Club is a business networking club for men only, with a strong social element and a criteria for membership, to ensure that only higher caliber businessmen are offered membership "Becoming a Fellow and running your own branch of The Business Boys' Club couldn't be simpler!
"Every Fellow is given a framework to follow for setting up and running their own club at their local pub, or wine bar after work.”
"We even give them an agenda for meetings which not only encourages a great way to build business contacts but also offers a good excuse for a pint after work.”
“Only one club is permitted in each area with meetings held fortnightly on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening.
There is an entry criteria and no more than 25 members per club will be permitted, to keep each group exclusive and to make the most of the opportunities that arise. Annual membership fees range from £395 to £825 but Fellows are given all of the benefits of top tier membership for free as one of the privileges of being involved with the club.
