A PERVERTED couple sexually assaulted a child and hoarded sickening images and films of children at their home in Old Hill.
Stephen Gandy was described by Judge Martin Walsh as "posing a significant risk to members of the public" and demanded he be on license for six years after release.
Gandy, from Elbow Street, admitted two charges of sexual assault on a child under 13, one of taking indecent photographs of a child and five of making indecent images.
The 43-year-old also admitted one charge of possessing prohibited images and another of possessing extreme pornography.
The judge ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and also made him the subject of a ten year Sexual Offenders Protection Order.
Annette Storey, his 38-year-old partner of the same address, admitted one charge involving sexual assault on a child and placed on supervision for three years.
She was also ordered to register as a sex offender for five years and also made the subject of a ten year Sexual Offenders Protectin Order.
Mr Nicholas Burn prosecuting said that when police officers armed with a warrant raided the home of Gandy they seized computer equipment.
They then discovered photographs and moving images including a number at level five - the worst category, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.
Mr Michael Garratt defending Gandy who had a previous conviction for making indecent images said: "He can keep out of trouble when things are going well for him but when his fantasies come to the forefront he is unable to exercise control over it."
