POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in Halesowen on Saturday evening.
A 19-year-old man collided with metal railings at around 7pm on Amber Way at the junction with Coombs Road.
It is believed he had come down Coombs Road towards the junction with Amber Way.
Sergeant Neil Higgins, from the Regional Collision Investigation Unit, said: "It doesn't appear any other vehicles were involved or that anyone else was injured in the collision.
"Coombs Road is a fairly busy thoroughfare and we are hoping people will have been in the area and saw what happened.
"A young man has tragically lost his life and his family have been left shocked and grief stricken at his sudden death."
