A TRAINING and development agency is hoping to make a clean sweep after opening a centre in Oldbury.
The purpose-built facility in Wolverhampton Road will support, deliver and assess a range of educational programmes specialising in cleaning and environmental science.
It aims to offer teaching, conference facilities, continuous professional development opportunities and features the latest in slip resistant flooring and easy clean and hygienic finishes.
Delia Cannings, Chief Executive of Environmental Excellence Training and Development, who has more than 30 years experience in the cleaning industry, said the centre will work conjunction with employers, suppliers of equipment, trade associations and students who may be unemployed or seeking to broaden their horizons.
She said: “With a focus on the environment and to meet the requirements of environmental compliance, we are geared up ready and able to deliver qualifications from entry to degree level, focused on securing employment within the cleaning, hospitality, healthcare and security sector.”
