Murder bid accused remanded in custody

A HALESOWEN man charged with the attempted murder of a man following a disturbance at an Oldbury house has been remanded in custody.
George Adam, aged 50, of Stourbridge Road, is accused of stabbling a 28-year-old man at a house in Pryor Road on Tuesday at about 11pm.
He was remanded in custody today by Sandwell magistrates to appear before Wolvehampton Crown Court on January 6 2014.
The injured man is described as critical but stable in hospital.
